I had the pleasure of trying the Benedicts at Dean’s Place, and I must say, it certainly deserves its spot in the top ten list. The attention to detail in the taste, presentation, and price of the dish was impeccable. The homemade Hollandaise sauce and flavorful Canadian bacon truly set it apart.

Excellent spaghetti and meatballs. I'm from the northeast and this is the only place I'll go to for Italian food.

I discovered this place about 4 years ago and have been coming here weekly if not more every year since. The food and service are TOP NOTCH! We came here for Thanksgiving this year and as expected they knocked it out of the park. This is definitely a hidden gem on the southwest side of town.

Sara is a rockstar server. With multiple tables and working solo, she kindly took our order first, letting us cut ahead of a table of a dozen split-checked seniors who are still submitting their orders a day later. "I'd like a Denver omelette, but only if the ingredients are truly from Denver. That's metro area Denver and not the outlying rural areas. I want verification, receipts, and tracking information. Now the cook making the omelette doesn't have to be from Denver, but he must be a fan of all the Denver sports teams. Now if he or she has actually been to a Broncos game, he doesn't have to be a Rockies fan, unless they're playing the Yankees and Judge hits a home run, then all bets are off. Now the toast with my Denver omelette can be from any state west of Colorado, except Oregon. If the jelly for my toast is from Oregon, then I insist on Oregonian bread. And with my coffee, I want almond milk, unless you have pistachio milk, but in that case only for my second cup of coffee and if it's decaf."

Saturday, late afternoon. Ambiance in the bar is typical Vegas style pub - gaming on the bar top, sports on the tv. Bartender was friendly and fast. For an unexplained reason, she can't take food orders but she called a server from the restaurant side, who was also friendly and funny, we really enjoyed her. I tried the bacon wrapped shrimp, which was an off-menu special- the bacon was a bit overcooked to my taste but very nice sized shrimp. I also ordered the caesar salad, and although it was too big to finish, it was a great salad. The patrons at the bar were incredibly loud, so that kept us from hanging around after dinner, but we wouldn't hesitate to return and hope for a more mellow crowd next time. :)

Prices were great and my spaghetti with meat sauce was delicious! They didn't skimp on the sauce at all. If I am ever back in Vegas I will go here for the great priced food!

Dean's Place is has a variety of breakfast offerings. My review is only of the Benedicts, nothing else. I want to let you know that have a "top ten" list for Benedicts. #1 being the best and #10 not as good. I found Dean's Place did make my top ten. They have a 5 star review in all categories . My rating is based on 3 weights : 70% = taste 20% = presentation 10% = price #1 - taste: They use Canadian bacon . I asked for soft poached eggs and was presented with the same. The Hollandaise sauce was made from scratch in house, had a very pleasing, distinctive flavor and taste. The reason I review Eggs Benedict is because of the difference in the flavor of the Hollandaise sauce. Their hash browns were shredded #2 -presentation : The presentation was good. #3-price: $12.95 is on the low side with Bennys with hash browns. Coffee for $2.95 a cup is just at today's normal. It is hard to insert a new Benny into my top ten but this one was easy. Because of the flavor I put it in the #1 spot. To see why I did this I suggest you try it for yourself.

Love going to Dean's Place. It has a great atmosphere and the food is great. The service is great and there is plenty of sitting and a big bar. The steak special on Saturday is delicious. Quality food that is not over priced. The eggplant parmigiana is delicious! I highly recommend, the sauce is very flavorful. The chicken Alfredo is also delicious and you can't go wrong. I highly recommend check out Dean's Place for some good local food, service and drinks!
